In ethics course I have learned many things that helps me in my real life. Firstly our teacher was explaining what ethics mean. What I understand about ethics is what my feelings tell me is right or wrong. Also we learned what we should to do if we are getting in dilemma we will have many choices so we have to think before we choose any choice about the results. My first reflective writing was about any dilemma I have got in my real life. In addition the moral relativism is how to choose between the chioces you have and how accepting other cultures. One more point we had a worksite volunteering in ZHO ( Zayed Higher Organization ) I have learned how to communicate with  people with special needs. Before I volunteer in ZHO I thought people with special needs not good and they are not understand anything about life but when I have touch with them I have changed completely my opinion I found them very good and positive people. Finally I would say the ethics course was changing my inside feelings and changing many things for me like dealing with by respect them and knowing what are inside them before we judge on them simply like ZHO’s students. I wish this course helps me during my all life.

Reflective writing #2 ( Experience in ZHO )

 

In ZHO there are many sections for students like who studying a section that need to care for them, these students what we called a disable person.

As a human being and having overwhelmed heart I have to do something to help them how to feel normal and happy, because they have problems in moving. Some they have problems in legs or in hands. I help them to move from place to place. I tried to comfort them and not to feel sad. Sometimes I played them with their toys, and most important I tell some joking but not all the time because if I take more fun they will become crazy. So I have to be careful for what I'm doing. These students are different, not students that we see every day, they are special mankind.

And other weeks I went to the place of the student that who understand and same as me, same as I study in college. I enjoy with them because we have the same kind how we study, like connecting electrical circuit together. I have learned more with them especially fixing electrical problems. And I start to help them to clean their stuff and fixing computers connection.

In visiting ZHO, I do all possibilities on how to deal with disabled person.

Ammar and Dheyab reflective writing#1

Dheyab and Ammar

 One day we decide me and my friend Dheyab to meet each other on Wednesday and going to Marina mall to spend a time with each other. On Wednesday at morning the day that I decide to meet Dheyab one of my other friends called ammar he is from Ajman he called me and told I am in Abu Dhabi I have some work I will be finish around 2:00 pm and I want to have a lunch with you. So I was in dilemma after ammar called me. At this time I have two choices even I go to the Marina mall with Dheyab or I have lunch with my friend ammar. The first chioce If I went with Dheyab I will leave ammar alone and he will get lost in Abu Dhabi because he is from Ajman and he have no friends in Abu Dhabi the second choice if I went with ammar my friend Dheyab will get angry from me. So I decide to tell Dheyab and explain for him about my friend ammar he is coming from Ajman and he want me to have a lunch with so I will meet Dheyab later after I meet Ammar. In my opinion I think my decision is based on stage five of kohlbrerg of moral reasoning because I give my word for my friend Dheyab and tell I will meet him and we will spend the time with each other.
